The name suggests, besides the rhythmic disposition of the parts of the seat and backrest, the empty space between each component.

Initially conceived from leftovers of muiracatiara and canela wood, the Vão Chair came about as an exercise to obtain resonace between noble but reutilized materials, seeking a cohesive and neutral whole.

From prototype 01, the refinement and search for a simpler and lighter design continued, this time using a thin and orthogonal steel structure, which brough a whole new view for the piece.

The design is currently in the prototyping phase.
