Participating proposal in the international architecutre competition Site Shelter.

Located at the fortress of Nossa Senhora da Luz, in Peniche-Portugal, the intervention seeks to create a point of connection between timescapes, landscapes and different materialities.

As new viewpoints and perception of this territory are stimulated, the project aims to fit itself in the very boundary between transformation and conservation. Through a primitive and sober material palette, there's a will to tone down contrasts between that which is construction and ruin; contemporary and heritage, as well as keeping the features of which timescape untouched.

In a constant path of immersion and submersion, there's a calling to connect with internal and external realms, in a complementary and constructive relationship between space and time.
